Graffiti Series

I am not a good tourist; I do not photograph the sites any more. Sometimes, like in Berlin, you see an odd thing that starts a little fire somewhere in your brain. When I looked at a piece of the Berlin Wall, covered in graffiti, the graffiti seemed to dance all over the wall. Every few feet, there's another piece of history where someone told their story or expressed his or her feelings. So, working, from my very odd photographs and memories, the feelings, the paint, the music and the graffiti collided in an explosive expression recreating my "untourist" experience.
